The temperature-compensated button motor protection switches with electromagnetic fast trip and thermal overload guard provide excellent protection for motors and other consumers. The main areas of application include switching on, monitoring and switching off electric motors to protect them from short circuits and overloads.
The design operating current le extends from 0.1 to 32 A.
Add-on modules such as low voltage release systems or auxiliary switches (for example emitting an alarm when the release trips, the Emergency Stop is pressed, limit switches trip, etc.) can be fitted with ease.
The design current ranges up to 6.3 A at 400 V are inherently safe for short circuit currents of any size. The = 6.3 A range requires a back-up fuse.
The sturdy plastic housing can be wall mounted (four screw-on jacks or screw-on blisters on the base of the housing), fitted direct to a motor terminal box or connected direct to a mains socket.
