About Tripus

  2004

  Tripus GmbH Kunststoff- u. Elektrotechnik leased out the whole business to the newly founded Tripus systems GmbH, Schalt- u. Steuergeräte. Tripus GmbH is the Holding for all the subsidiaries.  
• 

  2005

  Enlarging the Polish branch to more than 3000 sqm of production area. In the same year Tripus polska celebrate their tenth anniversary with about 80 employees.
• 

  2006

  Taking over the Märkische Elektro-Industrie Adolf Vedder GmbH & Co. KG (founded in 1934) in Schalksmühle and integration into the newly founded MEI GmbH. Among others they produce main switches, motor-protection switches, CAM- and drum switches and many special switches for global demand.
• 

  2009

  MEI production moved to a new building in Bubesheim. Start of Tripus Internetshop. New products, such as our cableprotector, connectors for photovoltaic, motor protection switches, etc.

  2013

  This year TRIPUS, the family-run business in the 2rd generation and proud of their tradition, favouring innovative products, is celebrating their 50th anniversary. Having created, from the very beginning, a solid, medium-sized company, family-owned, makes us feel proud. We make it for our business in future to offer innovative and high quality products in order to meet our customers’ high demands.
• 2015

  Tripus systems GmbH (Schalt-und Steuergeräte) and MEI GmbH are incorporated into the Spanish Gorlan Team Group in December 2015. From now on, Mr. José Gómez and Mr. Uwe Albers are responsible for the company management. Gorlan Team Group is present in more than 70 countries all over the five continents.
